Photo number two of the 'Chairs at Peace' series. Once I get a good print and photo, that will go up for sale on my Etsy site as well. But for now, this one and the other are up on my wall, reminding me of summer, days long ago, and bright times, and hope for the future. Namaste.
You know that big blue sun i was messing with, well here is what happens when you mess with canvas size and image size in Photoshop....I love it...I create all by accident!
Ok, this is a crappy shot but you get the idea, I am once again hanging, removing and moving the art on my wall in my office. It's my own little private art gallery to keep me happy when the government negativity starts to wash over my physche.
A scribble of how I felt on my flight down to Huntsville last week, when once again I was stuck with a seat mate who was a tad larger than the seat. I got so frustrated, I drew a pissed off Scooter...and scribbled the following next to it in my sketchbook..
this was an exercise on seeing if I could draw something on a notepad that already had pix and stuff on it, and try and blend them seamlessly into one pix....OR
ok, doesn't look like much, but trust me, there is a huge line for take off out there in line at JFK. Which is why I am sitting here in the Red Carpet Lounge at JFK after my flight has been delayed 2 hours and now i won't get in till 11 PM! and guess who had their spousal unit drive them to the airport coz the clutch and transmission in her jeep is fried? and guess who is whining about how early they get up and now have to stay up? talk about the me generation.

Hertz decks out all their cars with a GPS and EZ Passess for the tolls. I had to take a pix of them both since it was kinda funny. the GPS looks like a taxi meter and the EZ Pass, well its a metal box stuck to the wind shield and you pull the little drawer out before you go thru the toll booth. Uglee but it works :-)
Cedric Jr didn't travel with me this time since he has already been to huntsville....but the sneakers made the trip...they look familiar? i have an exact pair only in red :-0

can you believe that i just kicked the shoe off toward the direction of the dresser and it got caught on the drawer knob? If i tried to do that again, it wouldn't happen in a million years!

Sitting in discussions that contain classified material limits the amount of distractions you can have with you. No phones, no PDAs, crackberry's, crackapples, etc. So I just continue to doodle to hone my techniques and keep my promise to my self to draw something each and every day. Sometimes the 'something' comes out good, sometimes it hits the garbage can. But I am doing what I love and focusing on it.
for those of you who have had the pleasure of a gourmet meal of these tasty delectables, you understand my stomach's horror upon this revelation. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure...you don't know what you're missing. And you really don't want to know
Do I take too many pix of my little boy? I use the Mac Photo booth again [ as if you couldn't tell] to try and capture his mood. we were chair dancing, but he was overly mushy.
And watching CNN in the Huntsville Airport Lounge -----ready to go home!

frustion on the airplane, with my knee still hurting and trying to read work stuff, I started doodling. Driving home from the lake, next day on an aircraft, I just hope that i get back home before Hanna gets to VA. I got art work to finish ! and i can't do it on the road, for sure.
i hate the next to the last boat ride of the season.....
calm, no wind, and fitting of the last days of summer,,,,,, i hate it, but it is so peaceful, almost too peaceful.but it is what is it, the end of summer and the passing of another year

Yeah, I know I look fat and I am, but there is nothing more satisfying than enjoying water sports with m y little boyz, Thrash. He likes the slower pace of the kayak as much as the jet ski, but we just can't get to the ducks yet, no matter how we try to sneak up
