the world renown, YelloW Dog Cafe
The view walking to the Cafe, after production tour and meetings were over. Harris has its facility right off hwy 1 in Malabar. And about a mile up 1, was the Yellow Dog, right on the water. Great way to catch lunch right before the run back to Orlando Airort.
Even the bun has the logo stamped on it! and it was very yummy! An off course the obligatory spix of the Raider Crocs at the Orlando airport, waiting to come home.

Happiness and Sorrow in rainy Florida
So once again, I am on travel. This time for 3 day meeting in Melbourne , florida again, down the road from Cape Canaveral and the 'space coast' as it is known. And instead of eating out, we have been going to the gym twice a day - Pilates, Yoga [i could get into Yoga!] Aerobics with weights, along with some cardio and my normal lifting. Kicking my butt for sure, but what a hell of a way to jump start my workout routine.
But yesterday and this morning was mixed with happiness and sorrow - my nephew, Matt, called me to let me know he got engaged to his girl, Angie. She is a real down to earth person, real and genuine and they are a great couple. Congrats Matt and Angie - I am truely happy for you both.
This morning, the sorrow. One of my guys that works for me had a stroke in the office. Fortuneately the EMTs got there quickly, and although the meds he got in the hospital have helped we still don't know how much damage was done. At this point, and where i am at, all i can do is keep him in my prayers.
But i did figure out how to post my doodles while on the road - since I always take my camera with me, I can take pix of my doodles and sketches and post them! So, here is some strangeness I doodled to keep me focused during the highly technical parts of the meetings.

You can smell fall in the air....
One of the last few weekends were going in or on the water at the lake will be possible without a wet suit [although it was very close to that temp]...Thrash has a big weekeng being a boat dog and being dotted on by friends kids, who were with us at the lake.
Tom Buonforte is a work mate of Tim's and the fella who graciously helped Tim load the U Haul trailer all day, last year, with our crap for our 'new' lake house. Promised him a invite to come down- and it's sad that it took a whole year to sync schedules up. This is 4 of his 6 kids , the two older boys able to get up on my wake board. Glad someone can make that damn thing work ....

Nothing says Labor Day like....
Friends, family, LKG, water and birthdays. Mike and Kel, our neighbors, helped us bring an end [premature to me] to the summer during the Labor Day weekend. Much too short a time, and it was kinda sad and quiet come Monday, as the days get shorter and shorter and the inevitable cold will creep back into our lives.
And Thrash is talking to Rusty , while Toni is talking to me! Wonder what Thrash was thinking? [he was thinking how far a swim it was to the yellow jetski]
We also celebrated Tim's b-day at the lake, with Toni and Robin and Mike and Vickie and Nick and Andrew...Notice the knife in the Carvel cake?
This next shot below, is of the little boat dog who had had enough of cruising on the boat and came and bagged out under the boat steering wheel and in between my feet. I had to include the wheel in pix to prove where his little doggyness plopped down.
