I know you all have seen the T-shirts, tire covers, hats, mugs and just about anything else, with the moniker, "life is good" on it and some cutsy little character, dog or something on it. Well Ruby wanted to make her own statement. Perhaps not too Christmasy, but you know Ruby, she speaks her mind! Always.

Ever wonder what we did or how we worked before email ? Those stacks of 'to be read' documents and memo's in your In box on your desk? The almighty buck slip, where you signed off you saw something and passed it on to the next person on the list? Now we have return receipt on emails, delete receipt notifications, filters, limits and just plain old splatter casting. Do you have someone in your office that equates their importance with the amount of email they receive each day, and how many they CAN'T read coz their isn't enough time ?

Can you tell how my weeks have been and how they will be going on for a while ? Coffee ! Coffee! I was so late this am, i had to re-schedule my dentist appt to fix the broken crown i have coz i just couldn't get out there in time. Well that gives me more time in the office to work, now don't ya know.

Btw - update on my co -worker with the stroke. He should be in Mt Vernon hospital [transfer] so he can undergo acute therapy, and whatever that entails. He has a positive attitude, has been speaking more. He has some movement in his right side. Please keep him in your prayers, as he has a rough road ahead. Thanks.

Meetings and con call's sometimes take a life of their own, and many times it is not a positive thing. Sometimes I wonder if the whole government work force isn't on Paxil or Zoloft or Prozaic, the way everything seems to be always a negative slant, instead of positive. Drama Queens abound!
