new Repurposeful art in the office
Doggie pix and works in progress
Here is a work in progress, among many many others that are all over the place. A series of 3 tiles [ took pix with camera phone hence the double pix] to be mounted on some kind of piece of wood for hanging.

in celebration of Life - colleague and friend
Live every day as if it your last
Tell those close to you that you love them, and what they mean to you, even if it is every day.
Know that God has a plan for you, even if it isn't clear to you now.
Never take any one for granted.
Some of you know that last week, while a rough work week, was particularly sad for me, and my friends and colleagues in the Missile Defense Agency [MDA], with the unexpected passing of Don Toenjes. When I joined MDA, I was hired to back him up and take the load of him, being almost a one man show. Five months or more into my tenure, Don was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma, aka incurable cancer. After a year of strenuous and experimental treatment, trust in the Lord and determination to fight with every breath, he went into remission and had a good 4 1/2 years. But Don also had another time bomb in him, his heart, which gave out 6 Feb and he passed that following Monday. He looked the picture of health as the photo shows, but I suppose God had other plans for him.
I asked some of you to pray for him, now please keep his family in your prayers.

Froggy,-taken with my macro lens..Hell, i just take shots and don't bother to read the info on the equipment. perhaps, one day...
my new littlest beastie boyz, in a bit of a better pose. He is a sleepy doggy and still having a rough time trusting. You have to be real slow and gentle, or he thinks he needs to protect himself. His first trip to LKG
Winter Chairs....an experiment, and latest in the series of Chairs

Brrrrrrrrrrr....it is cold down here !
not too good a pix of this ford focus, but it is the strangest color of a rental car that i have ever gotton [ aside from the mini van once, and the volvo station wagon a few years ago!] it's kinda light green or actually grass green..not your standard, blue , black, silver, red and white rental cars
from my balcony this morning, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....it was about 25 degrees....not warm enought to sit there with a cup of coffee. in fact there was no one on the beach walking, which there were yesterday.
I think it will warm up tomorrow, about the time i get on the airplane.
