Thrash the mummy

this crazy boy loves to wrap up in the sheet like a mummy. He also loves to sleep on his back and snore. The other morning, he decided to do all three. Is he spoiled or what?

Ruby doesn't take crap from anyone ! you might have heard the phrase, "here's your marching orders" - well, Ruby likes to call it 'Barking Orders' . Of course, she still does what she wants.

Wonderful Wedding, wonderful Day!

Saturday was spent getting ready to journey to Willow Grove Inn, out in Orange, VA to attend the happy occasion of my best friend, Toni, brothers wedding. Everyone looked great, the wedding went without a hitch, except for the bride and groom who got hitched, and a happy time was had by all. So CONGRATS David and Ruth - the future is yours!



and here is the apple of my eye, Nick, toni's son. He is almost 13, smart as a whip, and I love him dearly. Right before I snapped this, he had on one of those silly faces, then got serious and did a real 'vogue' for me, allowing me to catch a great shot of him. What a hansome young man!

Happy 88 birthday DAD!

My Dad does not have a computer, doesn't know about blogs, and doesn't even have and answering machine. So the only way he will see this is for me to print it out. But today is his 88th birthday, and he is still as feisty as ever and loves me more than anything. So I thought I would post the birthday card I made for him and sent.

I am and always will be his babe, his little girl. He gave me the courage and encouragement to try and fail, and try again. and thru it all, his love never waivers. Here's to my dad ! many more

another trip to Colorado Springs and some time to run thru the Garden of the Gods. Hong, on the left works with me, and Bill on the right is my Huntsville shopping partner and colleague. Bill and I decided that Hong needed to see the Garden. Was a beautiful day for it !

Tell me Thrash isn't a water Doggie!

Thrash loves to ride the Jetski and i love riding with him. He just chills out and examines his domain, like he is the king of the world. But he does get hot, and he will trot down the steps to stand in the lake to cool off. But now he has figured out that it isn't that deep by the steps and he just plunks down and either sits or lays down , whichever way will keep his head above water. In the pix above, he is laying down and saying "I AM NOT coming out !"

If you have watched any of the news and clips of Hilliary, you might have caught a glimpse of the jacket Ruby is wearing on her. But Hilliary had it on with pants, which Ruby won't wear since it hides her shapely but furry legs!

Of course, Ruby will tell you she had the outfit first.
