Craft Fair purchase

My new table i bought at the crafts fair a few months ago - the pix doesnt do justice to the flowers that are embedded in the lucite which encases the whole table top [ which is a cross section of crypress or redwood ?]


So since I am on still crutches, guess who is moving furniture around this weekend ? LOL

so where are the recycling bins?

if you are going to cut corners, be cheep, or just do away with the small perks, call it what it is.
Don't sugar coat it with BS -.....

trying to put weight on it....

but sometimes , can't quite keep my balance...............uhhhhhhhh,,,,,ohhhhhh, noooooo


insecurities, dreams , hopes , fears....we all have 'em

and so it goes part deux !

three weeks of this, foot exercises and staying off it. I hope this gets better soon, since the medical acrudiments seem to be getting larger rather than smaller!

and this is how i commute to work...boot and crutches in the car, backpack, and coffee stuffed in hand bag. funny how you realize all the simple things you take for granted. But I am taking care of myself and making due on my own.

And so it goes....

Yesm, that is my foot and those crutches are mine. While it isn't broken, i do believe in the 4 weeks i was hobbling around on it and hopping it would get better, i pulled a different muscle. So now i don't know if the original boo-boo is getting better or not, just that the other muscle hurts.

totally sux to be on these but makes the leg better. I sure as hell know how out of shape I am, and it is beating me up to get around on them. but i need to quit whining and get back in shape. but hopefully the Ortho Doc tomorrow will be able to tell me how bad or how good it is.

Tell you one thing, I am more patient with people who are not quite as mobile as they used to be now. Funny how you change your perspective once you have a chance to walk a mile in the shoes.....

Things I have been working on..

Just some of the projects I am working on and experimenting with. I still have to finish my watercolor pix, but a rummage thru my art supplies and uh oh, i don't own any water colors! arggggg.....

Last Hawaii post

Tomorrow I head back to the mainland, and to tell you the truth, even know I had a nice relaxing time and good visits with my friends, i am looking forward to getting back home [but not back to work]. This morning I had a watercolor art lesson from a local artist.

This picture doesn't do it justice as i took it with my phone, and it is not finished yet. However I did learn stuff about using water colors as well as the color paletes, which I am not that good at. We'll see how it turns out, but I think I am going to try another one too...see if I can improve on my serious art!
